This fully integrated plant includes modern scrap handling, melting, billet casting, extrusion, drawing and finishing of brass and copper alloy rod and bar products. The plant was in full operation until January 2011. Nearly all machines are installed and operational.

The Plant produced a variety of rod and bar shapes including rounds, hexes, squares and profiles for products used in many industries including automotive, energy, stamping, plumbing, aerospace, and hardware.

CAPACITY:

The plant produces 30 Metric Tons per shift with the existing cast shop and production equipment. An upgrade to the Bultmann Drawbench, which was underway when the plant closed, would increase production to 40 tons per shift. Annual production of finished product is between 15,000 - 17,000 metric tons.
